To help keep tuition affordable, the St. Mary Parent Club currently coordinates fundraising support toward:

  • $100,000 annual St. Mary Catholic School general operating budget
  • Support for the “Principal’s Pick” project at our annual auction


Green Sale:
(1st weekend in December) Wreaths, Swags, Gift Baskets, Retail Christmas Items and Baked Goods are crafted and sold. Retail Booths open Friday-Saturday.  The Santa Shop is open on Friday for kids to come shop for their family.  The school choir and musicians provide festive music Friday evening.  A fundraiser breakfast is hosted on Sunday.  All profits go to the school.  

  • Every student is responsible to bring a donation for their class theme (e.g., gardening, chocolate, family fun night). 
  • Parents can also help before the event by volunteering to create wreaths/swags, prepare baked goods, and assemble gift baskets.


Evening at the Auction:
(Late April) St. Mary’s largest fundraiser is the silent & oral auction, raffle and dinner (to be hosted again this year at Immaculate Conception Parish Center).  All profits go to the school.

  • Families are asked to procure and/or donate auction items for the silent auction, oral auction, games, raffle.  
  • Many volunteer opportunities are available before, during, and after the event.
  • Raffle ticket sales will start in February.  Families are asked to sell at least 4 tickets.


3-on-3 Basketball Tournament:
 One-day tournament open to the community for first grade through adults.  Fun for all ages.  Spectators and personal cheering section encouraged.  All profits go to the school.
 

3K/5K Fun Run: Family-friendly event that starts and ends at the school.  2017 was a Twilight Run.  Trophies and refreshments provided.  All profits go to the school.  Seeking event chair for 2018.
 

SCRIP Program Info: (all school year) The acronym stands for Store Certificate Rebate Incentive Program. Gift cards to many local and national merchants are for sale via order forms sent home from school. through various $CRIP sellers, and online at ShopWithScrip.  The school receives a discount percentage from participating merchants for each gift card purchased. This local merchant servicing company will donate half of their fees directly to St. Mary for any business that uses their services. Electronic Payments of Oregon will match your business’ current fees and donate half of what they collect to the school.
In other words, your business will be paying exactly the same for your credit card merchant services and half of the merchant service’s profits go directly to St. Mary.
