53rd Annual St. Mary Green Sale

The Green Sale is scheduled for December 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. This fundraising event features handmade Christmas swags/wreaths, centerpieces, themed gift baskets, vendors and a Sunday fundraiser breakfast.

Friday, December 1 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm Tonight includes performance by St. Mary Wednesday Mass Choir at 5:15 pm – 5:45 pm. And Santa’s Secret Workshop open tonight only where children can purchase inexpensive gifts for family and friends. Vendors (tonight and on Saturday) include Greens Bridge Gardens, Scentsy, Pampered Chef, Nutty-Nannies Milk Soaps, Jewelry, and Creative Crafts. Coffee and hot cocoa available.

Saturday, December 2 9:00 am – 1:00 pm

Sunday, December 3 8:00 am – 12:00 pm Features Green Sale Breakfast sponsored by the Men’s Catholic Order of Foresters Court 1776, WinCo, and Roth’s. Adults $8, Kids – $5, and Kids 4-under FREE. Family (5 or more immediate members) $30. Menu: choice of breakfast casserole or scrambled eggs, sliced ham, cinnamon rolls, homemade applesauce, coffee, and juice.

Homemade Cinnamon Rolls To Go – $6 for 4 or $10 for 6.

Tamales To Go – Fresh homemade tamales will be available for purchase to “take out” starting around 10:00 a.m. $15 for 1 dozen and $8 for 1/2 dozen. Choice of beef (w/red sauce) or chicken (w/green sauce).

Green Sale Volunteer Positions We will be needing lots of help to make this fundraiser successful. Please take a look at the updated list for opportunities to help (plus earn share hours) during the dates of Sunday, November 26th thru Sunday, December 3rd. Gift Baskets – Theme Assignments For Each Grade

We are collecting items for our Green Sale themed gift baskets. Please look at the list (with updated due date) for class theme assignments and have your children take their items to the front office by Tuesday, November 28th. FREE DRESS PASS FOR DONATING ITEMS FOR GIFT BASKETS. Free Dress day will be Monday, December 4th. Students will receive their free dress pass on Thursday, November 30th.

We are looking for quality NEW items to place in baskets then cellophane wrap and gift tag. These baskets are then sold at the Green Sale. If shopping doesn’t fit your schedule, a cash or gift card donation is also greatly appreciated. We will then shop for needed items for you!

Baked Goods – The Green Sale also features baked goods for sale. Please make your favorite dessert (cookies, candy, cakes, bread, etc.) and bring to School Gym no later than 1 pm on Friday, December 1st. Your time spent making and packaging these baked items for the Green Sale can count towards fundraiser share hours.

Homemade Items: Green Sale also accepts new homemade holiday arts/crafts/décor, knitted/sewn items, wooden items, ornaments, etc. Please drop-off at the school front office by Thursday, November 30th.

Santa’s Secret Workshop
Please donate gently used items and drop-off at front office by Tuesday, November 28th. The shop is for children to buy inexpensive gifts for family and friends. Open on Friday evening only of Green Sale Weekend.

There are only 2 order dates left before Christmas Break. SCRIP makes holiday shopping easy, purchase gift cards for all of those hard to shop for recipients! Start planning your holiday gift card needs now, and purchase early! SCRIP is easy gift giving. SCRIP is also great for your own shopping to purchase gifts (Kohl’s, Macy’s, Target, Wal-Mart, Nike, Cabela’s, Roth’s, Home Depot, Lowe’s, Maurices, Buckle, JCPenney AND many, many more)!

Small denomination cards are also currently available, on a limited basis. This includes $5 and $10 cards for many retailers that normally don’t offer those smaller amounts (STOCKING STUFFERS!). Check it out!

Orders placed Friday, December 1, to be delivered Friday December 8.
Orders placed Friday, December 8, to be delivered Friday December 15.

December 8 is the LAST CHANCE to order BEFORE Christmas Break!
Regular orders will resume again in January.

Classroom Auction Projects

It is that time of year to look for classroom auction project coordinators. These are people who volunteer to work with the teacher and students to create Amazing items that will be bid on during the Live Auction of our 2018 St. Mary Auction April 28th.

Please contact Missi Vaughn via text message at 971-599-0656 or class.projects@stmaryauction.org to secure your volunteer slot. We need at least one parent from each grade below to help coordinate projects . This is a great way to earn share hours and work on projects that are some of our highest bidding items! Once volunteers have been assigned I will work with each of you on ideas and looks to help get your project started.

Feed My Starving Children

Thanks so very much for your help with the Feed My Starving Children Event! Thanks to the help of lots of people with big hearts like yours the event was a success! 1,149 volunteers packed 997 boxes which equals 215,352 meals and will feed 590 kids for a year!
